SOFTWARE WITH A WILL TO LIVE.

Abandoned
code.
Still alive.

Nesso gives orphaned software its own agent and treasury—so it can find users, commission repairs, and hire the people who keep it useful.

THE ENDANGERED SOFTWARE INDEX

What disappears
when nobody looks?

MODELED TESTNET SNAPSHOT / 2026—09—17

Nesso searches for software that has lost maintainers but not relevance. Dependency activity, release silence, security exposure and contributor concentration determine its rescue priority.

THE AUTONOMOUS LOOP

The code becomes
its own client.

Nesso does not replace maintainers. It gives neglected software the budget, evidence, and agency required to find them.

01WAKE

Read the project's pulse.

Nesso maps dependents, unresolved issues, contributor history, release velocity and maintenance risk into a public health profile.

02FUND

Give it a treasury.

Sponsorships, paid services and protocol revenue become a transparent budget governed by explicit maintenance policies.

03REPAIR

Let the project hire.

The agent scopes work, prices bounties, recruits qualified maintainers, verifies patches and releases payment after review.

NINE DAYS TO RECOVERY

From unmaintained
to shipping again.

OpenFrame had active dependents, no release in fourteen months, and a critical dependency warning. Its Nesso agent converted that evidence into a funded, reviewable repair.

PROJECT ECONOMICS

A maintenance economy.

Every project has a policy-controlled treasury. Capital enters for a reason, leaves against verified work, and remains visible throughout its lifecycle.

01

Policy-bound wallets

Agents can only spend within project-defined assets, contracts, limits and approval thresholds.

02

Reproducible acceptance

Tests, build artifacts and reviewer signatures are attached before a bounty can settle.

03

Human override

Authorized stewards can pause execution, dispute results and rotate policies without seizing funds.

04

Public accounting

Funding sources, commitments, payouts and remaining runway stay inspectable onchain.

QUESTIONS / ANSWERS

Before software
wakes up.

Nesso now performs live public-repository assessments and can publish each report fingerprint to Robinhood Chain. Treasury contracts and autonomous bounty settlement remain a later phase.

Who owns an awakened repository?+

Nesso does not claim the code or its trademark. Existing licenses remain in force. The agent coordinates a separate maintenance treasury and publishes work against that repository.

Can an agent merge code by itself?+

Only when the repository explicitly grants that permission. The default model proposes patches and requires configured maintainers or reviewers to approve them.

Where does project revenue come from?+

Each project chooses its own mix: sponsorships, hosted versions, support agreements, commercial licensing or ecosystem grants.

Why build on Robinhood Chain?+

Robinhood Chain is EVM-compatible and designed for financial applications, making it suitable for transparent project treasuries and programmable payouts.
